This is such a creative calendar. I love being able to peel away parts of it and watch it come to life.
One thing that's either not in the description, or I missed, is that each sheet is 2 days. You pull apart half of the sheet each day.
The paper is thick, and well textured. The gift box is very nice. This is a very giftable calendar.

This thing is neat! I can't wait to see what it looks like next year. Super innovate way to gift a calander. Easy to tear off and the sculpture doesn't get ruined if you are clumsy like me and tear off the wrong day. You can just watch it take shape. The light up feature is neat as well, kinda has a prismatic effect on the walls that changes as you remove more days.... I may already be in next month....

I'm planning to use the included note cards to document my journey.

While I appreciate the lit platform, I have a preference for sculptures illuminated from within (like my castle-themed one). The acrylic cover doubles as a protective case against dust, adding to its appeal when fully revealed. Overall, it's a thoughtful and enjoyable surprise for art lovers, Asiaphiles, or anyone who appreciates unique treasures.
Although I haven't officially commenced using it since the new year hasn't arrived, the weightiness of the item and its attractive packaging, complete with a cover, contribute to its overall appeal. While it might be on the pricier side, its uniqueness certainly makes it a standout gift option.

I am trying to work on mindfulness and decided this would be a nice daily touchstone on my desk. I like the idea of peeling away the days to expose a lovely paper sculpture. I think I will use the note cards to write a note about my journey.
The calendar is well made with quality materials. I didn't realize that it comes with an led light for the final sculpture, which is nice.
Would make a nice gift for yourself or others.

This is a fantastic and fun calendar! Finally, a new concept to challenge the plain old hanging, flat, lifeless yearly calendars. This is essentially a cube shape, somewhat of a small footprint, but solid in weight. This looks like an orange-fire color block, but as the days pass, it's going to turn into a Japanese Maple piece of art. The bottom takes 2 double A batteries-a bit disappointing that it's not rechargeable. It seems that everything is easily made into a rechargeable product, and purchasing batteries is an outdated practice almost.
The top is covered in clear acrylic to protect your developing work of art. You can press the fingerprint button to turn on the battery operated led's. I love that this calendar has a useful purpose long after the year has passed by. This becomes a keepsake after 2024. This makes an excellent gift when you're not sure what to give.
At the time of this review 12/28/2023, this calendar is 42.99. I feel this is a tad on the high side, but it is such a unique item, that the price may be in the right retail price.

This beautiful calendar is going to be amazing for counting down the days of 2024. Each layer is cut into 3 segments, so the top layer has January and then January 1 and 2. Each piece is really nicely cut and tears off easily, though so far I only tore off January just to see how it worked. It comes with a nice gift box and is sealed with two little plastic stickers to keep the clear plastic cover over the calendar. These did leave a slight amount of residue on the side of the clear cover, but the spot was very small. It came with a little 3M black square of tiny circles to cover the screws in the bottom of the calendar base. I put 3 AAA batteries in the base, and the little fingerprint icon on the base turns on the light once you touch it. I think this is going to be a really beautiful desktop display by the end of 2024, especially with the light-up feature and the nice cover that is included. It is a high price point, but I think for the zen-experience of tearing off a paper each day, it will be worth it.

I have only an initial observation and it comes in a nice case and box. it seems to be of decent quality. The price is a touch higher than similar items. Not sure if it is better than the others warranting the increased price or not. The layers seem to be a good texture and durability.

I've seen videos for these beautiful calendars on social media and really wanted one. While I haven't used it yet because it's still 2023 - I am impressed with the quality of the calendar and the protective packaging. I can't wait to see the tree unfold throughout the year, and like that it is a keepsake for years to come! I also like that the pull away sheets can be used for notes. This will be very handy for work.
